So i just failed my calc III test:mad:. Im freaking pissed i studied for a week for the damn test on double integrals and other stupid shit. I had an A going into this test and thought i knew what i was doing. The damn teacher talked to one of his buddies the entire test and when he graded it he didnt give partial credit for anything. If you got it wrong he took off full credit even if you made a stupid mistake. Ughh oh well i just needed to rant.

It'll pass, I have not used anything i learned in that class since i completed it my junior year. Seeing as you are in Mech. Eng. I doubt you ever will either.

If your going on in calculus make sure you really understand precalc/trig/algebra, cause the calculus part is easy the algebra/trig gets really crazy.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
You will use that stuff in mechanical engineering. However, theres matlab for that.

If your designing a system of gears, and need to know force applied on the z-axis, triple integrals will be used.

Im in physics w/ calc I and i understand all of the calc I stuff much better than before since it is being applied. I aced calc I and II and hopefully can pull this grade up, i'm actually pretty good at this stuff, i just underestimated how difficult the integrations the teacher was going to use.

I enjoyed physics until the tests. My teacher was all about teach everything, one test. The test had one problem and was something like "two billiard balls on a table collide, one moves in a direction toward a spring and rebounds off the spring in this direction blah blah blah....how much longer before the second ball, will the first ball hit the floor". yah, fuck that for a physics one test.

Hahaha ugh man we have 4 question tests, its brutal but i understand it alot more since i can actually drawl out an see exactly what is going on. It's just tedious.

if your mechanical engineering, just wait til you get to systems analysis.
