Hello guys, i just tried fixing my door lock actuator and I was able to get the motor working again so that's good news... Now everything works perfect on my door handle, lock, window, but when i get into my car and while my door is close and all doors are unlocked i turn my key to the on position and the door automatically tries too re open. I'm stumped and would love some help..

It sounds like you have some wiring reversed, is it possible to place the actuator wire leads incorrectly?

Ooooh I just figured out what the OP meant. Mine was doing the same thing. My issue was when I reinstalled the door the actuator arms werr binding and cycling the locks. I reinstalled the door panel and made sure nothing was pinched and I was good to go.

Everything else is working so it leads me to believe the wiring is correct.

What do you mean the actuator arms? The cable that goes from the lock to the actuator? Thank you for you help.

The orange circled cables. Mine were jammed up so it would cycle the locks. I uninstalled the panel making sure it was perfectly installed and never had the problem again.

We're your locks trying to unlock when you turn the key to the on position? It only tried once then it stops. It does nothing if they are locked. Both with the door closed correct?

I was planning on fixing the actuator but I never got around to doing it. One day I closed the door on my truck (did not close completely) and I locked the door it started working again :)

OK the problem was in the actuator, there is a very small metal plate that pushes down a very skinny black switch to tell your protection that the door is locked or unlocked. I have attached pictures and circled the area that needs to be fixed.
    Thanks guys

Hey Mike. Did the switch need to be pressed in by the plate with the actuators unlocked before reassembly? I replaced both motors inside the actuators and did notice the switch and my locks unlock twice when I close the doors.
