WOW love this truck so far 99 sr5 extcab 4wd 2.7L 5spd 120K, not beat - Haven't heard one bad word about yotas yet, got a few ?s tho- power steering pump making that damn about-to-die sound, big fix or change the oil and see? Truck bumps hard enough to skip CD player when I let clutch out in 5th gear - what is that about? Best and quickest mods for the $$$- air filter and exhaust? are they really worth it??? Thanks, I live in Alton nh , see alot of nh posts here!

Welcome to TW. Probably wont hurt to change your pwr. steering fluid, also check the belts condition and tension. As far as the bumping when you let out the clutch in 5th gear I`m stumped..BLOCK/CHOK Tires(so you dont get runned over), set park brake then with transfer case and tranny in neutral, check all the joints for wear(play/slop when you twist them in opposite directions)..strange that its only in 5th.As far as performance I think your on track with intake/exhaust upgrades. Hope this helps or others might have more advice for ya.

Thanks for the reply - got a few issues to check on, but otherwise truck is great - I can wrench pretty good, and one of my good friends is a great mech and yota nut. Going to see him tomorrow night for a run-down on my rig, and I'll def be paying attention to the advice from this site!!!

Welcome 99, I can't add any more to your issues, some good direction was given to you by Tacotoe and Colttsi. Yeah there are a few N.H. tacos and it good to have another.
