I finally purchased a new 2010 DCAB Silver 4x4 TRD-OR Tacoma. I owned a 08 DCAB Prerunner TRD-OR before. I do have a question though. I have sticker inside the drive door that says payload decreased my 68lbs. Does anyone know why? Other than that I absolutely love my new truck! Will post pics soon!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? I'm in negotiations right now for one :)

I agree it is common and very popular. It's also really good about not showing dirt and cool in the summer time. I previously had black and it was beautiful. Unfortunately it showed dirt terribly. It needed to be washed every other day. Silver looks really good with black trim and Toyota's silver is more of a light, translucent metallic color as opposed to most drab silver colored cars you see. To me it's a great, low maintenance beautiful color.

I specifically bought silver so it would hide some dirt and scratches. I have a black car and the Spring pollen turns it yellow here in East Tennessee. My road is pretty muddy too. I really liked the speedway blue but silver won out.
