Today I added the TKO wheels (Optional center caps were a must!!) Put on a leveling kit and some 285/70 R17 Tires.
    [/QUOTE]

What are the optional center caps?

Just had my MB TKO wheels with 265 70R 17 BFG TA KO tires installed at Discount Tire... looks GREAT. Will be installing my TRD Pro Grille later today and post a picture. Had four guys (they were slow) change my wheels/tires in about 40 min total, including TPMS rebuild.

Hey Paul, just realized I saw you in the Hobby Town parking lot Saturday.
The wife and I were checking out your wheels. She really likes them, I like them but I'm still not sold on black rims. They dealer where I bought my truck gave me one as a spare so I guess I just need to put it on and take a look at it.
    Nice looking truck.:D

Does anyone know if the factory 'TRD' logo insert will fit over the 'MB' logo on the caps?

VOX- I noticed in another thread that someone was telling you that the new wheel set up with the stock 265/70-17 was going to 'Rub'. Have you had to cut or remove anything? I don't mind taking my mud flaps off but I'm not so sure I want to cut or remove any inner fender well plastic...

I've removed the mud flaps (all of them) and still get a very slight rub when turning (not all the time). I believe it's coming from either the front or rear of the inner wheel well plastic. I was thinking about making a template and trimming a bit from each side once I identify "where". It's either that, or lift the front a bit to move the wheel well out of the widest section of the tire.

too bad it was not my truck :D i sold my TKO's long time ago and now running 17x9 Pro Comp 7032 Wheels (matte black) with 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2 Tires. And saturday I was helping my parents move so I was driving a Uhaul ;)

but i was never a fan of a black vehicle with black wheels...i've always felt that black car/truck with aluminum wheels looked cleaner but ive grown to love the black and black meaner kinda look

Hey Paul, do you have any rubbing with your Pro Comp wheels and General tires? The TKO has a -6 backspace and I saw the Pro Comp has a 4.75 backspace. Wondering why I have rubbing running a 265 70r 17 on the TKOs

with my set up now 17x9 Pro Comp 7032 Wheels (matte black) with 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2 Tires i definitely had some major rubbing :D i had to get my dremmel and trim the husky front mud flaps. So now, i get very little rubbing if im reversing and its full lock.

I've heard you can install the 5100s and that would take care of the rubbing also but dont want to spend money right now

like they said , "if it's not rubbing, its not wide enough" ;)

Vox - Let us know if you decide to do some type of left/level in the front. I've been looking at a front leveling kit. In my opinion, I think the front sits about 1" to 1.5" too low. If you lift more than 1.5" then the back has to come up to make it level again. So all that to say, I don't really want to lift my whole truck 2-3". All I want is a 1" gain in the front. I don't off road so ride quality is important. My truck goes to the office and the airport...

I think that's the route I may go. Just a spacer lift in the front to level it out and eliminate the minimal rub.

    doh! :anonymous:

Looked just like your truck, had Lost Pines dealer plate on the front though so I guess it was probably a couple of years newer.

After giving it thought, the wheel is just not my style, though I do like it. Think I'm going to hold out for some TRD wheels or something like the SCS F5 wheels in the classifieds section. I hate big center caps.

I'll probably trade the one I have off to someone when I decide what I am going to run.
