I love it!!!!! I come from a sports car background and really needed a truck. I have always loved the 2nd generation Tacoma's and finally got one two weeks ago. I race Bmx and motocross, so it was only right I stop using my dads truck and get one myself. So, whats the scoop with the Tacoma's?? I mean, I know every vehicle has some sort of flaw. My G35 is that I hit my head on the roof while I drive. Still stouped about the truck!!!!! :D

What skid plate should I get? I really want to stay in with TRD, so is that one any good? Any information is appreciated. Thanks

    Welcometo TacomaWorld!

Hmmm Flaws???? Do a search for threads about tailgates. It seems that they buckle if you put more than a few hundred lbs on the middle of them. On the plus side if you manage to break it within 3 yrs 36000 miles Toyota will give you the new improved one for free.

    WELCOME !!!!
Others have said the OEM skid plate is quite weak. However, if it's just for looks you should be ok.
Go for the TRD seat covers or the wet okeles (spelling??) and get weathertech floor mats.
Get ready to spend lots on mods!
    How about some pics?
