and couldn't have done it soon enough! :D After regearing to 4.56's and running 33's (for now) my speedo was at least 10 km/hr over and above what i was actually doing at hwy speeds. Thus putting extra miles on the ODO when i really didn't need to.

Installation of the hypertech inline speedo calibrator is fairly easy and took less than 30 mins from start to finish. Programming it was even simpler, plug usb cable into laptop, enter original tire size and gear and then enter the new tire and gear size. Done deal! Double checked hwy speeds with a gps on my cellphone and it was bang on @ 110 km/hr. In fact i doubt i'll be going any faster than that since i was revving just over 2800 rpms!

I am assuming that you need a winblows operating system for the software?

I'm not quite sure. I checked the CD but it didn't say anything specific. Maybe check with Hypertech customer support, they're pretty helpful.

So this also sets the mileage on the truck right with the size tire?

How much was the calibrator? Best I could find was 178 on amazon for the 05-10 module.
