Just installed new mirror

This was also one of the first mods I did to my truck. I couldn't stand the flipper/prismatic style mirror that my truck came with. I decided to go with a Gentex mirror as I've had bad luck in the past with Donnelly (my old Lexus had one and it got spots in it as well as shook constantly while driving). Also, mine has a little LED on the bottom of it that turns on as a PRNDL light at night for a slight illumination of the center console (my Lexus also had this feature and I could not see anything in the Tacoma cab at night without it). It's just enough light to be able to see things in the cab at night without having to turn on my dome or reading lights. Love it.

For install, I cut the connector thats located in the factory headliner and wired the +,-,and ign. accordingly to the mirror. Here are the results:

You can hide the wire coming down from the headliner with one of these:

When I bought mine through Bob's Mirrors it came with that plastic piece to hide the temperature probe wires.

Can the mirror just be spliced into the existing wire up in the head liner on a 15?

Never mind question answered here already, Thanks. I just bought the one on Amazon as all Im concerned with is having temp and auto dim

Yeah you don't have to splice, Bobs Mirrors comes with the correct plug, you will be good to go.

If I'm wanting to install a genk20a in a 2014, is the harness plug and play or will I have to run a power wire along with the temp wire? I kept the mirror of my '13 and it's working minus the temp in my '14. I'm wondering if I can unplug the '13 mirror and plug in the 20a?
