If I understand this thread correctly the oem step pad is not adjustable but the aftermarket AMP is.

the installation instructions sure look like the OEM could be adjusted based on where you place the nuts the slide into the step

I saw this as an option when building my TRD DCSB OR on the Toyota website and ordered it that way with it being installed at port. I use it weekly, anytime I need to access my bed and could not recommend it more highly. It easily kicks out and in. I wonder how people access their bed without it.

Unpopular opinion but I have the step and rarely use it, it always guarantees a knee or shin bump on the tailgate

If by chance you ever happen to decide to let it go, I may be interested. I've got short legs and would probably get some good use out of it.

How do you keep your truck so clean? Mine wasn't that clean brand new at the dealer. Very nice.

I keep it in the garage 2018 , I don't drive it very often and its never been in the rain, lol. I have a beater Jeep my Wife and I use. Hell you should see my Wire's 4Runner, now that is clean but again I'm very particular and keep my stuff pristine as best as I can.

    OMG! @cop414

Tim, what other mods have you got?

Wait, I've seen recent ones: Grill & OEM LED headlights.

I've yet to add this mod...even though I had bilateral knee replacement 4 years ago, I can still get up in the bed.

You won't regret it hahaha it comes in handy quite a bit once you have it. Would hate to remove it IF I have to when I get the CBI swing out bumper. Cheers!!

I still wish the GMC Sierra 3-way fold down tailgate thing was an option... I wonder how many would buy it and at what cost?

I especially like how they designed it to hit the trailer hitch insert.

I see that picture and part of me says what a stupid gimmick. Then the other part of me says damn that thing is actually pretty cool! But is sure seems like a lot of stuff that can break or go wrong there. On that note, I wonder what the replacement cost for those fancy GM tailgates is? It's got to be out crazy expensive.
