I am excited, I just bought the Dark Graphite leather seat cover replacements from G S Interiors on ebay. I read a few posts and it seems like they are pretty reputable and have a good product. I'm hoping the black will provide a good contrast. I have the grey interior in my double cab right now.

This will definately help keep the truck cleaner too. I have a golden retriever and cleaning his hair off of the cloth seats is a pain because it sticks to them.

I will be sure to post pictures as soon as I get them in.

Are there any tips on install? I know I should probably let them sit out in the sun a little while to warm them up and a little more flexible.

From what I read I just need hog rings and hog ring pliers.

Do you have a link to their ebay listing or store?

Yeah, that hair is a pain to clean. I basically have to rub it off with my hands into clumps then vacum the clumps. Plus having to clean dirty paw prints off the back seats when its raining is a pain.

Yes sir, I feel pretty goofy when I'm sitting there giving my seats a rub down in a futile effort to remove huge amounts of dog hair from them.

Are you planning on installing the seats anytime soon? I'm interested to see how they turn out. For the money, it would be well worth it if the quality and thickness of the leather is up to par, and of course, the fit.

I bought the leatherette seat covers in July from www.Gtcovers.com . They are $100.00 cheaper and GT Covers told me they will wear as long or longer as the leather seat covers. I also bought them because I can clean them with a damp rag moistened with a soapy solution.

I have a 2009 Silver Taco with the black and tan interior...I wish Toyota would have made it all black inside. The dark tan color GT offers...they call it Coffee...matches the interor perfectly. Nobody can tell they are after market seat covers unless you look real close. GT Covers makes a good contour fit. I love mine...you will get a couple of scratched knuckles installing the covers but it is well worth it.

Good luck with your leather covers...you will love them!!!

I am going to install them as soon as I get them. I'm like a kid at christmas when I order stuff online. I have to put it on asap.

I'm gonna have my girlfriend's dad give me a hand. He does automotive interior repair for a living for a lot of dealerships here in North Atlanta so he and I should be able to knock it out in a day or so.

Is it a close match to the upper dash color? I have been looking at getting leather, but not sure if the darker or the lighter gray would look better. Thanks

Are they Katzkin seat covers, did they give you a warranty with them?

It doesn't say on the posting that they are Katzkins however I recall reading a post by someone who bought from him that said they are katzkin covers. They say they are covered under a 3 year manufacturers warranty.

A few people in this post had good things to say about the seller I bought them from

In response to GLOCKAMOLE...The tan covers that I bought from www.gtcovers.com match the dash. Check out their website...select either the leatherette (L4) or the leather (GL4) for the color selection. This company will send you sample swatches of the material if you request....

I sent a question about getting leather for my 09 DC in black and they replied saying they could get them from Katzkins but they would cost $650 because they are custom.
So I am pretty sure the ones they are selling are from Katzkin

She responded to me yesterday asking the details of my vehicle and said that the dark graphite was a different color than straight black. She told me she would change my order to black instead. Very good seller. She responds to emails quickly and is very helpful and knowledgable.

I looked at GTcovers and it seems like they are about $50 cheaper for the full leather kit for a double cab. Oh well...I can't wait to get them.

Update: She had to custom order black covers (same price) I'm assuming from katzkins based on what I've read. They were shipped on Tuesday. They are scheduled for delivery next Tuesday. I'm itching to get them installed.

I definitely recommend hydrahawk/GS Interiors & More. Her name is Jackie, she was very helpful and responded to my emails in a timely manner. I will be sure to take pictures of them and the install when they arrive.

I emailed them and asked if they were Katzkins, and they told me no, unless you specify, they can get them, but they cost more. HYDRAHAWK is who I emailed.

Got the seat covers today. It was quite a fiasco. I ended up having to drive 45 minutes to the UPS hub to pick them up. They tried delivering yesterday and I wasnt there so they left a slip for me to sign authorizing my neighbor to sign for it..which I left for them. But the UPS driver is not competent enough to read the Signed UPS slip on my front door that said I authorized delivery to my next door neighbor since I was at work and couldn't sign for it. I'm not going to take a day off work to sit here all day and wait for UPS.

They came in a katzkins box :)

I get my truck back from the body shop tomorrow (see my thread about hitting a deer the other night) these will be going in the truck this weekend.

Very good quality construction. We will see how the fitment is. I would imagine it will be pretty good.
