    I've been here a few times before and there seems to be a lot of great guys & gals here! I've been a Toyota guy for a long time now but haven't done any mods to speak of though I once had a lifted stake bed Yota truck that had a transplanted V6 (bought it that way) and was way fun to drive. :burnrubber: Nearly destroyed my kidneys on some washboard & mountain roads though - stiffest suspension ever.

    I just got the d-cab w/auto a couple of weeks ago and am loving not having to grind those gears anymore! Yeah, I'm gettin' old I guess. I was able to fix the compass/temp gauge in the overhead console a couple days ago thanks to SecretSquirrel (thanks!) though I almost melted the dang board from using a big ole soldering gun instead of a small soldering iron (didn't have one). Works now but can't say how long my crappy soldering job will hold...

    Anyhow, enough of that - I'm glad to be here! :)
