Went to Burger King to get a breakfast sandwich for my wife and I, driving towards the drive-thru, a guy backed out of a parking spot and hit me while i was moving forward around ten miles an hour. He had to have been full speed reverse, as his vehicle's rear end, drivers side, made contact with my passenger side front quarter panel/wheel-well area and he brought my truck to a complete stop.

I don't know much about wrecks and such, but I noticed (as you will in the 8th picture down) my steering is severely damaged, it appears. I'm sick over this as with even the small nuances, I love my new Tacoma...

Haha, I had to edit the post to put the details. Some guy backed out of a parking spot and hit me on the front passenger wheel well/quarter...

Yeah, he jumped out of the car holding his head and moaning around, like he was injured. I figured he'd remove his hand from his forehead and there'd be a bloody mess, but there wasn't even a scratch... I asked him if he was ok, to which he replied "I guess" and then I asked what the f*** he was doing other than paying attention to his surroundings...he just got back in the car and waited on the police...

Indeed! As I previously wrote, I really enjoy my new truck, and it does suck that I'll be without it for a while. I hope the Toyota Collision Center can get it back to normal, and that it will drive/ride properly!

tip; look for reverse lights or smoking exhaust pipes while driving through parking lots, you may not be able to stop idiot drivers but you can assume everyone is one and drive defensively.
