been trying to think what to do with my scx10 ii ive got a body on it atm but it will go back on my scx10 original once i get it rebuilt

 

Speaking gibberish to me, duders. I don't know RC.

I understand that I should check RC4WD for the RC, but I have to find a body somewhere else.

 

rc4wd makes the body... but it only works for a few chassis they also make alot of cool scale rc crawler kits that you build
hpi is another company they make a fjc body which is really cool but dont sell it on its own only comes with the truck but the truck its self sucks tbh its outdated and also really really hard to get parts for
axial is a good company i have two of their rock crawlers a old scx10 and a newer scx10 ii
traxxas also makes a rock crawler and are nice trucks as well
vaterra makes neat rcs as well but i dont like the transmissions or the axles another out dated truck
cross rc is another great company with some cool trucks that look like old toyotas nissan what ever they are also have some cool military looking trucks
redcat is the cheapest you will find when it comes to scale rc crawlers they use to be junk but have really come along way with their trucks
gmade has made a few cool ones but dont know alot about them so cant say much
ecx is another dirt cheap rc but not a true scaler cause they will be very tiny close to the size of the one you currently have i do have a ecx buggy but i dont use it i just keep it to remember my friend
tamiya is a classic old school company thats the original of all this they sell some cool stuff where some even have ifs up front
losi makes a few rock racers which are designed to be fast and kinda run up hills


you can look all these brands up at hobbytown usa ive been into rc for awhile and know a bit about most of these companys these are all the scale rc crawlers i know of so you can make it look like a jeep a truggy defender and such like that scale rc is a ton of fun just expensive my axial scx10 ii is built really nice and has a lot of money in it

lol nobody makes one for the reason of popularity for rc jeep is more popular now you can get 3d printed parts to make one look like a 1st gen truggy which is cool

 

Just build a Tacoma rock crawler, hence the expression the toys just get more expensive.......

well when it comes to toyota rc they only make a few bodies for them and the only toyotas that have a bed is the 1st gen tacoma double cab and the proline hilux 85 with a bed the rest like the honcho i sent dont have one they have a truggy cage then they have a 4runner and a fj40 but that one is specific to the trx-4 from traxxas

 

I like this idea better.
