For a second there, I thought you spotted me. My truck has been disabled for a little while though. I may have seen his running around here.

Nice to see another 1st gen owner. Welcome to the club.

I won't be able to go wheeling for a little while till I replace the steering rack and get some tires that are decent. Tires that are on mine don't have much tread left. :/

I completely agree. Especially with her being sick, I take extra steps to do whatever I can to keep her happy.

I used the hacked version of techstream and cuw file i found in the ovtune alpha thread with tactrix cable. I didn't want to mess with the dealer

What weight difference could you expect from a 16 inch OEM wheel to a 17 OEM 4Rrunner Wheel?

Post on CL. He said he's gotta get a camper shell first since his KB Voodoo Rack rusted and started flexing and they won't replace it...

Find two matching brand/models and compare weight specs. Should be similar ratio among all rims.

It keeps water from getting in your diff. The OEM location is right on top the pumpkin so fording water over ~1' can pontentially do some damage.
All it takes to do is a camry adapter, some gas line hose, hose clamps and teflon tape. I've still got teflon tape laying around somewhere, though its only like 75 cents for a roll at lowes.

Here's the kit from yota shop I used. https://www.yotashop.com/toyota-of-...MIq_GL_rXt3AIVAkOGCh3-EAWiEAQYASABEgJ-LfD_BwE

I've done it and it's not hard to do. Like Slashaar said it helps keep water out of the diff if you ever submerge it and typically the diff is hot and if you submerge it in water it will cool the diff down quickly and cause it to suck in water through the breather that's right on top of the pumpkin. I did mine just in case of any water crossings or when I back my 20ft pontoon boat down into the lake and the if the lake is low I have to get a little deeper that I care to to get it off the trailer. Anyway just cheap insurance and feeds the mod bug if needed.

    This.

I routed mine up behind the tail light. I can now sink the truck up to 1 inch from the top of the bedsides without water getting in my diff lmao.

I'm out. Gum graft today. Mouth is not in any shape for anything fun. The restrictions have killed my lifestyle.
