Thanks! Weldable hitch came from Amazon, but etrailer has them too. They're made by Curt.

Here's the backside, still need to reinforce the plates that hold the bumper up, and add a third mounting bolt on each side that will bolt to the bottom of the frame (that's why it's angled down right now). Haven't started on the backside of the hitch, that'll have its own connection to the frame.

It's the worst search system I've ever used, don't bother getting an account. On Marketplace, type Tacoma and all you get is whole vehicles for sale plus an egregious number of results that are ENTIRELY unrelated, like Jeep and Chevy parts. In every other place I look, I can just type "Tacoma" and everything with Tacoma in the description gets shown. It also doesn't remember when I select the "local pickup only" option. Craigslist is just about perfect, but a lot of people have jumped ship to Marketplace.

I don't spend much time on it because I have to search for each individual part separately and it always returns a crapload of parts and junk for vehicles that I definitely didn't search for.

Also, how is your truck? Any repairs yet?

Really hoping to get it today. Wouldve had it last week but the shop found the driver's side ball joints bad. Ordered replacements through Amazon but by the time they got in and replaced the alignment shop was closed. Hoping today they get around to it and finally get it back.

Saw it after the work was done and looks good. I'll feel better when it's in my driveway again.

Yeah, I'm sure everybody here is glad the truck and you both survived. We'll be more glad when you're back in it, though.

I just had a first here. Got a thread locked faster than I care to admit... 1 reply, then locked. Is there a reliable way to find out what is a no-no here? Are different forum sections moderated differently?

Finally got it back! Seems to drive straight and it got a clean bill of health. Gonna need a wash when things dry up a bit. Just excited to be back driving it again.

Yeah. I'm not saying I was in the right lol.

I am usually an avid rule follower and I'm actually upset I can't delete it. I had just discovered the MO law thing and didn't use my brain first :tinfoilhat:

It passed house, went to senate, Senate tweaked the consequences for enforcement, and it went back to House to approve changes. I guarantee it'll pass based on that and the R majority.
We can discuss further in PM if you want.
