I’ve been searching for 17’s for a while and really wanted SCS wheels but they’re pretty hard to come by. It seems most rims have some weight to them but I’m trying to avoid that and I stumbled upon the Kansei line. They claim their 17x8.5 KNP is 22 pounds and that caught my eye. I like that they’re a simple wheel with a retro five spoke look also. I went ahead and ordered a set with a -10 offset and Cooper st maxx 285’s.BC879299-17D0-41B9-A3D1-A627F7E8B577.jpg 98D57D6D-ABB4-449E-8D35-C3582F97BA33.jpg

Can’t say I run them, but their web page shows these on a 2nd Gen. They look particularly nice.

They call it Formlite. Basically a forged flow form. I’m hoping mine will be delivered tomorrow..

Weigh them when you get them, Im interested. Their site says 23.92lbs, but then it also says 27lbs when you click on product details.

20D3A267-DDC9-4CF7-9E0D-E3FF56DF510B.jpg I’m happy with them. 285-70-17 -10 offset and I believe 4.75 backspacing. CMC and coilover adjustments coming soon.

Edit: Also changing the nasty ass rock guard on the fenders...

I’m happy with them and I get compliments as well. I haven’t seen anyone else with them either, that’s also cool to me.

Looks good. I’ve always been a fan of the simplicity and looks of the five star rims since the 90’s. I’d probably never get tired of those gold wheels on the black truck. That thing looks awesome man! SCS’s?

Have you tested these with low pressures? I’m curious about their asymmetrical bead hump compared to methods bead grip

I have. I know 20-25psi isn’t all that low but they held up well. No issues.

They appear to have the perfect backspacing for 2885's . I assume you clear the UCA no problem? Are you on stock UCA's?
