    Oh man…
First off AMAZING build! I’ve been wanting to see the overhang and it’s it’s definitely not bad. I’m still going back and forth on a rack or camper shell...

Yeah that’s a tough call depending on how you like to use your truck. I personally like having my rack on for awhile, then I like having it off and back to my truck. Guess I’m a bipolar truck owner

I can’t believe I just read all 11 pages. I own a Chevy and Ram but saw both your YouTube video and somehow got here. I had a different idea on my Tonneau cover, rack and RTT conf but after seeing your build I am really digging it and will now get the KB Voodoo 18in Rack (steel one though for more weight capacity), DB cover, iKamper 2.0, and hopefully your pull kitchen when ever that come on line. Lol I sign up for that too. Feel like such a copy cat right now but man I learned so much from this tread and the videos. I am moving in a few months but currently in San Jose so hopefully it becomes avail soon and I can pick up instead of having it shipped to FL.

Also with your 18in rack and DB on, are you able open the DB still?

    Wow!

I didn’t invent the wheel so no problem going with a similar set up. No the DB doesn’t open with the rack on, but it’s 4 bolts and the rack comes off and I take off the rack and iKamper together as one unit with my home built hoist. I didn’t want to lug around my off road set up all the time. When I go off roading it’s kinda like my truck puts on a hiking backpack :)

Pull Kitchen should be officially launching in about 2 weeks or so. San Jose is my hometown, born and raised in Almaden Valley. Below is my pergola style hoist, it’s a 4 corner pull and it takes me about 10 minutes to have my rack and tent on and ready to go. KB Voodoo makes a great product 8252677E-23A2-449B-944A-14C2E6322580.jpg9F06F9B5-50DD-4430-A187-680DC4C68A64.jpg530F1E1F-4638-4DDB-B3CA-A8FB9ECE1EBB.jpg1FE919C8-265F-412D-838A-CD7F8A09A411.jpg

Thanks. Nice. Was raised in Oakland and lucky to be back in Bay Area after 18 yrs. I like the hoist idea but I move too often and will not be worth building one for me. I like that the rack come off with four bolt but once on, both that and the RTT may end up staying for awhile so I like the key lock feature of iKamper.

are you able to lift the DB up to the 18in rack height while rack is on at least?

Look forward to the pull kitchen and happy to hear just 2 wks.

No the legs of the rack block the cover from lifting

thank you good info to know. In this case I will go with the 10in rack since can’t open with 18in rack on because I do not plan to get the slide out although u gave great review on it.

Thanks for posting about removing the tie down on the diamond back. Just installed the 10inch rack on my diamond back and was tying to figure out how to line it up. Didn’t saw your post about removing it. It looked fine on yours so I removed the one closest to the cab and it was fine. I have the short bed.
