    My solution.

    Haha. The Voodoo really isn't bad once it's repainted. The best case would be if he just shipped them raw.

    Because it’s Friday....

    We all love a good rack. What makes a rack even better is if the service is top notch. :thumbsup:

    OP offered to pay for expedited shipping. If you had an issue with Amazon and reached out to online chat reps I bet you could easily convince Amazon to speed up the shipping.

    It's odd that he refuses to ship them raw.

    @RelentlessFab hands down

    I missed the tonneau cover bit. I think @Mobtown Offroad makes a similar product?

    Amazon did not speed up shipping for me when their fulfilment center messed up on an order. They actually pulled my review and banned me from posting another review. The correct part arrived the standard Prime 2day shipping.

    Sorry to hear that. I've generally had good experiences when I reached out to a rep rather than fillinflg out the automated forms.

    I was talking to a rep on the phone. IDK Amazon was great when Prime first came out. Now all I get are oversea call centers with no real customer support.

    Keep that wind in your sails. Just touch it up from time to time.

    I had a good purchasing experience from Chad. Shortly after I bought and installed my rack I was reading some posts about his past issues with powder coating. I went out and looked over my rack and seen a couple minor rust spots (very small) and got myself all worked up. I emailed Chad and sent him some pics. He told me to touch them up and not worry about it. I wasn't happy about that. I was convinced my rack was going to start peeling. I put a rant up on TW and then Chad put the pics up. So I got bashed a bit, someguys seen my concern, others ribed me whatever. Months have passed and my rack is fine. Chad was right. I dont think he has good customer service skills and that's what's killing him. I know after that experiece I'm not doing any negative reviews on products until I've ran them for a minimum of 6 months to a year and have proper facts and data along with pics to back it up.

    Very mature response here. Love to see this kind of feedback.

    Yeah the rust spots from chipping and shipping are different than the complete delamination of the paint some of us had. If it's still good I wouldn't worry about now and sounds like you got a good batch.

    So just to follow up. Got my rack installed today. All the parts and pieces were there, fasteners were there, powder coat looks great, and it arrived undamaged. So far I'm wildly pleased with the rack as it feels extremely rigid and robust for just being held together by 1/4" carriage bolts. Very pleased. Was surprised to see that the rear mounting bracket just bolts into the existing holes in the bed.
    Got a little worried when we put the rack on top of the bed and realized the bed rack tracking system stopped about 6 inches short of the end of the rack but the factory holes lined right up. Will probably end up getting beefier fasteners for the rear just for peace of mind.

    I think they've made some tasteful improvements to their product over the years. I'll follow up after a few months of use with a RTT and see how it holds up.
