Welcome! I actually live in Penticton and I have purchased two tacomas from the dealer you went to. How do you like the sunroof? Its funny I actually went and looked at that truck to see how the sunroof looked because I was considering it for myself. The truck looks great and I see you have some good plans for it!

at sch0enne: Yes, having a sunroof was a pleasant bonus when I was out shopping for a truck. The dealer was great to work with. (I think they have a 2006 in stock wiht 87,000km on it right now) The truck sold me on the low kms and cleaner than newer trucks with far more mileage. They had added 17" wheels, and new LT BFGs on it, and put a 3" lift kit into it. I didn't really care for the spacer block style lift, as the back end bottoms out easily; have to take care over any obstacles. The truck has a canopy on it now, and parts for making some more mods are on order from allpro.

The test drive from the dealer was fun, headed south toward Kaledan, and turned into the old Game farm. The gate was unlocked. Beautiful property, remember visiting the farm as a kid. Tried the truck out in 4x4 just to make sure there were no strange noises, and everything engaged, disengaged properly, no rattles over rough ground. everything worked great. - duh, its a toyota

hello anethema, thanks for the welcome. Yes, i'll keep an eye out for the kelowna trucks, and practice a bit of waving too :) I think I recognize that gully in the pic behind your truck. Looks like Valley Rd, close to Union.
If it warms up today, I should get out, wash the truck, and take a few pics to get on the thread.

Thanks Danny - yup will wave... I think i'll be busy waving!
My DC has a canopy on it now, same bright blue as the truck.
will get more mods done in the spring, have parts on order. I want to get the skids in place before I do much for four wheelin.
