hey man! I was gone for a day and had lots of catching up to do! you're a popular man! hahaha glad to see that your axle seal swap went well and seems to be holding, fingers are crossed that the seal hold buddy! :fingerscrossed:

As far as I know the fill hole on our diffs is also the level check, once fluid starts running you let it dribble out and once its not dribbling out anymore ur good to go! just make sure your truck is level!! I did my rear diff a little while back, put 4 quarts in and was like WTF. that's when my buddy pulled up and pointed out the angle my truck was parked on :annoyed::anonymous: had to drain out quite a bit hahaha stupid mistake on my part, but u live and u learn I guess haha

FYI. DTRL are required by law, on the Ontario side anyways, just keep that in mind. I was looking into that relay when it was first brought to my attention but once I saw its a no go for vehicles with DTRL I said forget it

I didn't knew I was that popular myself  haha

When I filled the diff I dropped the truck back on its 4 wheels and the garage floor (which is supposed to be level lol) and let it drip until it stops. So I guess I'll be fine! I totally agree with the fact that we fill to the fill plug but since I red somewhere that it takes 1.6qt I was in doubt... But everything seems to be fine.

I didn't knew about that dtrl law! I should check out on Quebec side too but I don't think I'll do the mod tho. I'll invest that little money in something else haha

Mmm seriously it is? I might not have the time to order from Amazon since we are leaving next week... but Canadian Tire are selling coleman. I have had a few tents in my life from Coleman and other brand in the low price range and they didn't last... that's why I am looking for better quality... but i know higher pride don't mean quality lol

Ha! Nothing wrong with that. I can only speak from my personal experience with my $40 3 person Coleman. I've used it probably 6-7 times over the last two years, and it's held up great. I always use a tarp and I always clean it before packing it away.

Sure! Tarps and cleaning are keys to use it for a long time. Unfortunately I don't see any 40$ tents around here haha damn Canada

hahahaha I was thinking the price wasn't too bad for a 6 person!! haha that's funny, I know I didn't pay much for my 2 person but it was more then 40 buck haha I barely use it tho so I'm sure it will last me a while, unless I find myself a good woman then I will need a bigger tent because the tent just barely fits my air mattress and my bag hahaha

Haha if it was only me I would get a 2 person tent! But she would like that I bring a condo
A 6 places tents is great imo. Larger than that you can have hard time finding a sweet spot to raise it...

I thought 250$ was a good price too for a tent not in sale. I guess we live in a different reality than our neighbors from the south lol the more time I spent on Tw the more i see we get no deal in canada lol Sweet country tho. I Wouldn't like to leave

hahahaha 6 tent will be perfect! lots of room to roll around in ;)

I was talking to a customer today who own a house down in Florida I think it was, he got his hydro bill for the month and it was 40 bucks lol he pays 200+ here hahaha I pay about 40 a month but I only have a one bedroom apartment and I'm not home all day and gone on weekends. we get raped up here, well, here in Ontario for hydro anyways but other things, I think all of us canucks feel it.

The past few years have been bad canadian vs us economy and as you say we feel it...

40$ is low! But bot that much haha my whole house cost around 50-55$/month in summer time. And we don't really manage it... a/c is on all day and boost on evening lol Winter is another story but I want to get better thermostat so I can control the temp better. I know the over produced energy coming from
HydroQuebec is sold to the US,
For less than what we pay... that sucks really...

programmable thermostats are over rated buddy. lets say u drop the temp at night but want it warm in the morning for when u wake up, well now the furnace has to work longer to get the house back up to temp. set it and keep it at that temp. have a customer who drops it down to 17 overnight and wants it to be 21 at 8 am when she gets up, well now the furnace will run for at least an hour to get the house up to temp. which is more run time then if she had just kept it at 21 over night haha which means more moneys hahaha it takes the same amount of heat to raise the house 1 degree no matter what the temp is set at. the best thing u can do is invest into your house it self, better windows, better doors, insulate the attic, minimize your heat loss as much as possible, that's where the savings come in.

Thanks for the input! My thoughts were leaninf that way too but I heard from a lot of people that we could save with using those thermostat. I do want to change them since they are old and not very accurate.

For windows and door i am lucky, they were all changed in 2012:yes: and insulation in the roof is good too! I was thinking gettig more efficient equipement too. The whole house is heated with electric rads. I can use my hear pump until -10 then I have to switch to rads. And when rads are on the bill go up haha but thats life lol gf think i am crazy trying to be that much efficient lol
