Installed a 27mm sway bar today off of another Tacoma. Used energy bushings for the frame mounts and moog end links with the zerks. Was a pretty easy install. The trucks is a lot better on turns and feels more planted. Glad I did it.

IMG_1922.jpg IMG_1923.jpg IMG_1925.jpg IMG_1924.jpg Serviced my throttle body the other day because my truck was idling a little rough intermittently. Looks like this has never been done before because it was fairly dirty. Also since I'm fly by wire the truck doesn't have a IAC but small ports and a door which leads to a vacuum tube. When I took the 4 screws out to open to little hatch it had a bunch of debris in it. Glad I went ahead and investigated. Seems like it fixed the problem. I reset the ECU so it's still relearning but it seems a lot smoother

IMG_1930.jpg I know doing your bed liner yourself doesn't get you as good as results. But man it sure is nice to make it look like brand new in 5 minutes and only costs 7 bucks
    (Ignore the tail gate) lol

Just purchased the power-stop truck and tow kit for a 2005 tundra for my swap. The kit number is kc2324-36. For the price it seemed like a good deal even though it wasn’t my end all set up I think it’ll be a pretty decent upgrade. Going to grab my cvs from Napa and going to the shop this week to set up a time to get my manual hubs pressed in. Getting close :)

Finished my tundra brake upgrade and started my big 3 upgrade today. I went with 4 gauge welding cabe. Noticed a difference right away. CS144 alternator coming soon.

Just picked these up for 50 bucks! Out of a 2007 wrx and they are in perfect condition. I got the driver seat installed but I’m gonna have to remove it and modify the bracket slightly. Surprisingly these things lined up really well in the Tacoma. They are full recline, double slider, heated, the whole shebang. These are way better than my stock seats. I’ll do pics of them in the truck when I get the other one in.

Ok so I got them in today. Gonna have my buddy make me 2 legs for each seat to make them fit perfect. Here’s a pic with the factory seat and the new seats and some with both seats in.

Finished my CS144 alternator swap. Man this thing is sooooo much better with respect to output. I turned up my system way louder than I enjoy it at and it never dropped below 14.1v. I used the factory Alt belt and 2x 1/8 grade 8 washers to fill the void. I was surprised that I only used 2 wires from the GM pig tail and its working like a charm. Pretty stoked. Hopefully this thing will last me a little while. I'll post some pics later, kinda tired from being in the garage all morning. Thanks for reading :D

How did the swap go for those WRX seats? Did you have to redo the rails and all that?
