I am getting a new HU for fathers day :D and trying to decide what to get. I think I have settled on a Kenwood KDC-693 with the KCA-BT200 bluetooth add on. However, Crutchfield is telling me that the bluetooth add on is incompatible with my truck. The only reason I can think of is that it wouldn't fit but when your going from double din to single din, shouldn't there be enough room? Has anyone installed one of these or tell me if its possible?

    Thanks.

I have the KCA-BT200 bluetooth installed with my 7120 and it works fine.

    Good to hear.

Did you install it? Was it tough? What dash kit did you use?

I installed it all myself. The dnx7120 is a double din head unit and I used the Scosche dash kit. Everything fit well. The bluetooth hardware was easy to install as well. I put the bluetooth box under the dash near the glove box and used Velcro to secure it. The cord for the bluetood simply pluged into the back of the HU and the microphone did the same. I mounted the mic on my steering column.
