I think the Key Cylinder went out in my 96 Taco. How much should I expect to pay for a new one and what all is involved in replacing it? Is this something I can do myself? I appreciate everyones answers. Hope everyones day is well.

Mine went out on my pre tacoma 95. It progressively started getting worse over time. Does it do it to all your keys? The cylinder if I remember correctly was like $60, a friend changed it, I can't remember exactly how he did it but we didn't go to Toyota except for the part. Had a different key for the ignition & doors but it was before fobs :D
