    Hi everyone,

just bought a new snugtop cap with EZ open lock

"Key-Operated Lock (pop-out lock optional) award-winning EZ Open lock fits flush with the door, has no handles and pops the cap's tailgate open when the key is inserted and turned."

Im thinking about making the lock keyless and tying it in with my current keyless remote for my 06 tacoma..

can anyone give any advice on where to start with this?

Check the accessability of the actuation circuit in order to by-pass the remote at the lock itself. You could tie it in to the passenger door lock circuit, that way it'll open with second press of key fob.

Look at lock, verify if it can disassembled. Actually take a pic & post it.
Do you have instructions for power to the lock?
