keyless entry

i just got and 02 xtra cab trd 4x4 v6 auto.
The person i bought it from didnt have a remote and has never had one.
I know you can look for the black box. under the seat?? or the kick panel??
nothing is under the seat that i can see.
and i cant check the kick panel until sunday

so i thought that i would try the keyless entry door dance, because after you do it the doors and lights should kick on and off.

So i tried it with no luck.
anything else i can try?

Also if i dont have keyless what do i need to have it?
an RS3200? is the harness in the car already?
oh also i had a 1 or 2 wire connector under the seat thats hooked up but i can see to what? anyone know what it is?

 

I think the remote controll box is inside the driver side kick panel, at least thats where the antenna is located on most of the units. As for the wire under the seat, ummm seatbelt possibly.. Did you do this: (page 2 of 11)
