that’s exactly what I think happened. I’m over in jersey picking uniforms for the fire house and as I came off 295, she just went dead. Coasted to the top of the ramp. Checked the oil, just to be sure. She wants to crank but nothing more.

currently on an hour long wait for the tow company to come get me. So what should’ve been a half hour trip has turned into who knows.

I also heard on the BB take a rubber mallet or ur choice of hammering instrument and beat the tank near the pump a couple of times to jolt the fuel pump motor a bit to help it regain some life .

    Holy shit that was quick.
Monday it’ll get looked at by the local shop. hoping it really is just the fuel pump and nothing more.

It was much better 25 years ago or longer .

Now it seems just like any other tourist trap one might find on Long Island .

Seems like the roads have been under construction the last 10 years.

I was driving on I-79 today behind a dump truck with cars on both sides of me, when all of the sudden a full deer carcass appears across most of my lane as the dump truck drives over it. With nowhere to go I centered my passenger side tires on the deer and went over it at highway speeds (I did slow down as much as I could, but still). Gotta say the stock OR handles driving over dead deer pretty well, but I still wouldn’t recommend trying it. As I drove over it I heard what I am guessing were it’s hooves hitting the underside of the truck. It appears one of the hooves caught the bottom edge of the body. My first real scratch.
I guess sometimes you get the deer and sometimes the deer gets you.

    I has ducks.

Also was driving down the white deer pike this morning, and true to it's name, two of the dumb fucks decide to run across the road. Only they then decided to run down the center of the damn road so I had to slam on the brakes.

I may have an ARB but an once of prevention as they say.

They didn't even look at them, oddly. Tess has the higher prey drive and she just walked right past them as they quacked at us.

When I walked my dog bout 6 p.m. last night we saw a scraggly looking raccoon coming up over the hill onto the road. We immediately reversed course and went the other way. As far as I know a raccoon out in the daylight isn't typical or normal. I'm getting ready to walk her that way again. I hope that raccoon took a long hike in another direction.
