What a week. First my front flange of rear propeller shaft cracked. I was driving around downtown and heard funny noise coming from under the truck then it went away so I thought everything was fine. Once I jump on I95 and sped up the truck began to vibrate each time I step on the gas. Called dealer and they say bring the truck in for a diagnose.

Thank God I bought the extended warranty as my truck is a 2010 and has 75k miles on it. Everything was covered and they gave me a loaner for a day. The bill came out to alittle over $1300. Has this happen to any of you guys? I read there was recalls on drive shafts but my truck wasn't in their data base for it.

Then a few days later while driving on I95, I almost hit a deer head on but was able to swerve out of they way and the deer hit my passenger doors. There are some dents in the doors and the dealer quoted me around $1200 to fix everything. As for the deer, the state trooper came out and finished her off as her rear legs were broken. He called up Penndot to recover the deer for the food bank. Atleast it didn't go to waste and help feed the unfortunate on this up coming Holiday.

I feel fortunate to still be here while my truck took the abuse. Be safe everyone.
Also was told to expect a recall to fix rear leaf spring next month.

I'll post some pics of the food later. Haha. Btw we have my aunts h3 she didn't think my truck would fit in the garage she parks in. Plus my battery took a shit yesterday. Need to get a new one. Any sugestions? I'm a cheap ass though so I'll probably just to to advanced and pick up whatever they recommend.

 

Optima yellow top. Dual battery set up. Batteries will never take a shit again... And if it does... Youll have a secondary to start the truck.

 

Unless you have abunch of lights and electronic doodads then aregular battery will be fine. Ihave a vatozone gold and it's worked as it should for the past 5 years

 

Is there any hetr thats running a 50 inch bar on their rroof????
