Is there anyway scumbags can bypass the ignition?

Or would putting on the fuel pump relay be better?

Yes, actually since 2005 they do, stock from the factory. Getting a spare key cut, will only get you in the door, but won't start the truck. The code in the key is read by the ECU, and if it does not match, the ECU won't deliver spark or fuel. I am presuming though this is stock from the Base model on up through the TRD models.

    Hi Guys,

New to forum. Does the alarm need to be disabled or does the ignition wire (Green with black line) just needs to be spliced And switch added?

    thanks!

If you're going to do wiring and if you're going to use a crimper for the connectors use a quality crimper (Thomas And Betts, Klein, BluePoint).

Most any circuit that makes the truck start or run can be "killed".

You don't have to use a hidden toggle switch. You can use a factory switch that your truck doesn't have that option for, a magnetic switch, a Mercury switch, or make an existing factory switch do double duty.

Sounds like something an FJ owner would say.

    Why?

I recommend using some solder & seal wire connectors. Just be careful not to burn anything with the heat gun.
