the tint looks real good! Hopefully you won't need the highlift, but its always good to have, just in case. Is there places to go off-roading in the panhandle?

any luck with the rewiring? I want to do some wiring mods, but am nervous that I'll mess something up. Let us know how it goes

I almost finished the rewiring but it rained all day Sunday and I have no garage to work in. This is what I got so far.

I don't lack much. I used 3M tape for the fuse box until I can get a bracket made. It seems to be doing a good job at the moment. I still need to shield the wires to the lights in the front and to my inverter, but other than that, it's done.

I am going to have to pass. :D

Well I'm nearing 15000 miles so it is time to change the air filter. After reading a lot of reviews on the site I decided on the AFE Pro Dry S. I also went ahead and ordered a neoprene cover for the Hi Lift jack. I was noticing that when it rained the water would pool on the head of the jack. Hopefully the cover will help. Next on my list of goodies is a Cobra 75 WX ST CB radio with Firestik antenna. I am going to try and do what barlowrs did with his setup and keep it looking stock http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/audio-video/85300-cobra-75-install-05-tacoma.html.

The Pro Dry should be in the mail tomorrow and I ordered the Cobra 75 WX ST CB. I will be ordering the Firestik, coax, SWR meter, and mount this Friday. Next on the list will probably be the Softopper then the sliders. I've been wanting to go camping lately and would like to out of the back of my truck and a Softopper would work pretty well. I also haven't been able to go wheeling and it doesn't look like I will be until I leave for Maryland in December. So, the sliders are on hold until I get there. Does anyone know of any good places in Maryland to go wheeling?

Well its been a really long time since my last post so here is an update. I recently moved to the Baltimore, MD area and work at Ft Meade. I'm thinking about getting a soft top within the next few months so I can be ready to go camping when spring gets here. After that it will be the sliders but that will probably be it until I separate from the AF in June 2012. I need all the money I can get to move back to San Antonio and get a job. Does anyone in know of any good camping spots in the Maryland region?

Well I just bought a new mountain bike so any new projects are on hold for a little while. I've also been thinking about getting the sliders before the topper. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which slider I should go with and whether or not it should be bolted on or welded on?

I finally paid off my mountain bike so it is back to modding the truck. One part of me wants the sliders but I have been needing a softopper. I did finally get to take my truck off the beatin path for once even though the path wasn't as extreme as I've seen most people do here. I want at least sliders and possibly front bumper before I hit the hard stuff.

This is the reason why I haven't done anything in a while. Doesn't look like $2300 but it sure does ride like it cost that much. I <3 my bike and truck!!!
