    I did a search and couldn’t find anything... is there anyone out there running the king 3.0 coilovers? I’m seriously considering doing so and was looking for opinions from guys that have them.

    It will fit but kinda useless for our trucks, 2.5s are even overkill in many situations.

    After all the work I’m putting into my front end I feel the truck really deserves the 3.0

    I’m doing it for the truck not for me :)

    I know of three trucks that have had the 3.0’s on. I wish there was more info this setup too lol

    The selling point for me was the internal bypass

    This is going to be purely a matter of opinion and may differ because that's what opinions are but....

    I don't see how a larger diameter C/O is comparable to a dual shock setup as they do very different things. I've had very brief conversations about this topic with people but the two reasons to go to a larger diameter c/o are because you need more dampening capability or you're fading the current setup and need additional oil capacity.

    A bypass is for zone dampening and often times leaves the c/o as more of a spring carrier than anything. I've not actually met anyone who has cavitated a 2.5 shock with resi, specifically on a stock length application, which makes me lean towards the 3.0 being more of a marketing technique than anything.

    Have the 3.0 IBP on the front of a 3rd gen. Hard to find its limits when the back end cant keep up. 12" King 2.5 smothies from Accutune.
