650lb is plenty. Especially if you have a stock bumper.

Buy the King T-Handle adjuster, it's definitely worth it. I adjust mine on the truck with it.

Just got mine on. I have to take it off about 4 times to get it right. I just made it high enough to clear my 285/75 tires. Also I had to make the driver side way more pre loaded because of the gas tank! Kind of lame. Did you guys do the same? or stick with a harsh lean.
I'm also installing an al bumper and skids and slider bars. I have 600 spring should I go 650 or 700!? Then do they need to be re-valved?

I've got an aluminum bumper and didn't need to do anything different, but am expecting to ratchet it up when my winch goes on. And yes the taco lean is not a myth... I had to adjust out 3/4" difference.

if you want to raise the height you crank the collars down to show more thread and reverse to lower your height... less thread showing less height, more thread more height

I have since put on a bunch of armor .. my nose sticks up too high and I ended up doing a cab mount chop so I can bring them back down. I forget which way do I turn to bring them back down? Hahaha
