Personally when I was doing research... I think the question is more King Vs. Fox. I chose Fox based on price, reviews, the amount of pro teams that use them, and past experiences with them working in moto dealerships.

I have the 2.5 res coilovers and 2.0 res rear and couldnt be happier. I also paid $1700 for both and no tax at 4wheel parts. Cant beat that deal

This is a HUGE misconception. Coils dont dictate ride quality, shocks do. The Coil is more or less just along for the ride, shocks aren't valved for spring rate, they are valved for whatever performance you are trying to achieve independent of the coil. Coil spring rate is coil spring rate regardless of what shock you have or their valving and ultimately is determined by the weight of your vehicle and the desired ride height.

Preload is absolutely part of the natural behavior of the coil and is used by daily drivers, offroad racing, ATV, UTV, Motorcycles, race cars etc and it used to determine proper ride height based on coil spring rates. A heavier coil requires less preload to achieve the specified ride height but a 600# spring and a 700# spring will have the exact same performance with all other things being equal.

Im at stock 2” of lift the coilovers were set at, ive measured and everything is where its supposed to be. If kings can get that oem feel of an offroad model while maintaning my 2” lift ide be happy. Currently the toytecs are stiffer than hell and i feel every single bump big or small

I have the same suspension you do, except for the rear leaf pack. I am running the crippled angler expedition pack. If I could start from scratch I'd have coughed up the extra do re me for kings, but sometimes you don't know what you don't know. The Toytech system runs smooth as silk if you add some weight to the truck, my advice is to call Joe at Mobtown, get sliders, skids, and a front and rear plate bumper, maybe throw in bedrack from BAMF, and a tent say CVT. Your truck will ride like a dream

Expensive solution lol. Would be cheaper to just get kings and sell the toytecs. Someone somewhere will want them.

you need to pick really on what you want more street or off road you really cant have both....

icon coilover would be ok because they make there shock more for street then off road i would say 80% street and 20% off road

i would just man up and just get the kings or

6112 would be really good for you great shock for both off road and street thats if you need that nice ride on the street.

So I'm currently looking for the same thing as OP said (90% street, 10% OR/Overlanding). Currently on stock OR suspension, but i don't want to have to buy twice. I was told by a local shop that Icons was the way to go (Stage 9), but i'm torn between kings since everyone says they are the best but still using the Icon Delta Joint and Icon RXT Leaf pack. I do have a KBVooDoo Bedrack and CVT Tent as well. Would love to hear your guys' thoughts before I buy them.

I helped a guy install kings with the Icon delta joint UCAs. He has had good results with that mix and I think its a good call to try out. I know some get weird about mixing brands though.

I would go with 6112 kit with UCA and 5160 from bilstein with a icon add leaf pack that way you not spending a arm and a leg but you are getting shocks that will give you the ride you want and you can beat the shit out of them and don't have to worry about it. also they don't need to be rebuilt over time so in the long run you saving money

6112 kit comes valved already for you truck plus your getting 600 pounds springs

it all come do to how much money you want to spend ...

"Complete suspension" probably includes UCA's and something to lift the rear.
