Me neither. Trust us, stay away from the Costso TP, lol.

I’m pretty sure that’s the only complaint I have with Costco.

I use 0w20 now that Toyota jacked up their oil prices. Good stuff.

While you all debated, Costco sold out online.

i found this comparison between ILSAC GF-6A and GF-5.

looks like the common denominator we will be reading about in the future when it comes to engine failures will be those that used kirkland motor oil ILSAC GF-5. :)

Virtually all of the previous GF-5 oils are now GF-6A compatible. I haven’t seen any that didn’t get recertified. The video is probably not up to date.

All that said, it doesn’t really matter. GF5 was the standard when the 2016 Tacoma was released. The manual said GF-5 all the way up until the 2022 owner’s manual. Nothing changed in the motor, but now for 2022 it says GF-6A in the owner’s manual.

Ilsac GF ratings are not that important. It’s just another standard oils meet. There are only 4 GF-6A compatible viscosities: 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30. Corvettes that want 5W-50 don’t get Ilsac GF compatible oil and they are way harder on oil than us.

This is/was some sort of kirkland light beer in 12oz cans.
I recall reading reviews and tasted it. Reviews were funny. Beer was terrible.
I've seen some variety packs but have never purchased it.

EDIT- the kirkland light beer was discontinued in 2018. It came in a 48pk.

Their benefit is derived from the difference of price minus cost. You can argue they sell more when their volume increases but who can ascertain the quality of the oil?

I'd need to see proof on that. Maybe one or two, but I doubt many.
