Yep, and they deliver it to my house for free. 4 oil changes for $100 + filters and Walmart carries OEM filters too.

It only stays in the truck for 5k miles so if it isn't perfect it's plenty good enough!

Yeah, I reread it and still missed it. 5th time was the charm though.

Kirkland oil is only 3 years old.

Context of "Only" is what threw me.

And this right here is what really matters. I bet Blackstone labs has plenty of data that supports all oil is ok for most people using most engines under most conditions.

Kirkland oil is probably like Kirkland alcohol. It's a name brand with the Kirkland name

Be more interesting if a sample is sent at 10k miles, or after a year.

Think I'll be giving the Kirkland 0W-20 a shot. I've had two Toyota Care oil changes since Jan 21' and I'm at 18k now so I'll be shooting for 5-6k intervals. I'll be sure to update any results. Hope to see some Blackstone 10k test results one day...

Yes, as discussed earlier in this thread, it is Warren Distribution.

Kirkland is more than sufficient for the needs of these trucks.

I have supertech in my supercharged Mustang that is a year old (the oil, motor is 22). I'm about to change it. Maybe I'll send in a sample to check the health of the engine.
