AALs are add ons (AAL stands for Add A Leaf). The two popular ones are the Alcan AALs which you can buy from toytec or the wheelers offroad AAL which you can buy from (you guessed it...) Wheelers off road.

My grill is a T-Rex 5 piece billet grill and I added a 90s Toyota truck tailgate emblem on it. :D

Here ya go: Ya just one pair is needed... There are 2 types of AAL... one is for TSB trucks and one is for NON-TSB trucks... The TSB AAL will work on non TSB trucks but the NON-TSB AAL will not fit trucks with the AAL (according to toytec website)

    1. The blocks would be to lift the rear. It would be used instead of an AAL. However, most people around here (including me) recommend using an AAL to lift the rear instead of blocks.

    2. A diff drop drops the front arms of your front differential (if you're 4x4) and helps reduce the angle on your CV joints.

sorry... just found this thread again...

My tires are 285/75/16 -- fit fine with 2.5", but some minor trimming is required. Light Truck (LT) tires are a good idea, but I know a guy running passenger tires on his truck. they just may wear a bit faster than LT tires.

LT tires are going to be heavier than P tires.

Blocks will do the same thing, but the AAL is "the better option" when it comes to lifting the rear. The price difference is 40 bucks -- ya can't go wrong...

yea thats what i thought, guy at work was sayin blocks are better but i was almost 100% sure i read on here somewhere that AALs are the way to go

How much has your gas mileage gone down since the lift? i know it kinda varies cuz we all drive dont drive the same distances.

instead of factory, look for budbuilt or allpro skids...

but if you really want factory, try trdparts4u.com

Bump stops are rubber bumpers on the chassis that limit suspension travel. "Bottoming out" the suspension means hitting the bump stops.
