Got a new windshield yesterday. PGW glass. $225 said and done. Special deal through Glass Doctors from an event they did.

Also, @T4RFTMFW helped me learn that Snorkel upgrades help stuck in women with children.

This morning there was a stiff breeze on the way to work. Could hear it through the windshield. Haven't wet tested the seal yet. Hoping it is good. Got out and saw this...

    20170407_093319.jpg

Quite a gap between the molding and the truck. Don't recall that on the original windshield!

@MTgirl and I went for a Sunday afternoon drive yesterday near Ennis, MT. Such a beautiful place. We didn't get far into the hills though as we ran into muddy clay roads and snow drifts. Only having one vehicle and no traction boards we played it safe.

We did find a realtor sign showing land for sale right next to a fairly steep two track. We decided to see what was at the top. The views did not disappoint!

So can't wait until the roads dry up more so we can really get up into the mountains.

@Daria finally had the truck looked at. Local power train shop says the noise is definitely my rear differential. The same one that was regeared, then had the air locker fixed, that had a leaky pinion seal...

Not sure that mine couldn't be related to my regear though. Diff has been making noise for a long while.

Awesome build! I was reading about your write-up on the regear, as it is something I've been considering as well.

On a much more random note, in the third picture down in your post above you happen to be displaying the forest certification label of the forest conservation non-profit I work for - Sustainable Forestry Initiative. I won't get into what we do, but it tickled me to see our logo in your post.

    Keep it up!

I've had two pinion seals fail and have had an incurable howl for about 900 miles
