So I forgot to post that during my diff fluid change my installer also fixed the locations of my ARB switches! Much better for OCD!

I was thinking the same thing from your previous post. This looks great!

Have you heard of anyone else have that problem? I was thinking about getting some, but not if this is a common issue.

Can't say for sure. Maybe search the forums? Methods are not hub centric for 106mm. They are 108mm.

So I got my truck back today after the rear ARB Air Locker was repaired. The case was not sealed and was leaking air pressure. ECGS took care of me though!

I discovered now that I tried to play with it that apparently I have to put it in park first. Then turn on the rear. Then the front. I can't turn on the front without the rear.

    Does this seem right?

I know the fronts are usually setup so that you can't turn it on without the rear. It's so you don't forget about it and leave it on. As far as the park thing, I'm not sure about. Seems you should be able to engage without being in park unless it's another safety feature.

    Great build!!

Here from your thread on 33s w/ 4.56 gears and looking forward to how you like the 4.56s with as much highway driving you're doing.

I've got to get my lockers off the shelf in the garage and in the truck soon. ECGS will be doing the install and like you, they're recommending 4.56 gears for my application so I'm torn between 4.10 or 4.56. I don't do as much driving as you do but do drive long distances for adventure and travel with the family.

Looking forward to your opinion on the gearing since like you said, most 4.10 gear threads are filled with bickering.

Gear breakin went very smooth. Everything runs really well actually. Only hiccup was finding out that my ARB case was leaking air pressure when they refilled my diff fluids after the 500 mile break in. So the rear diff had to be taken apart and the ARB case replaced.

That being said - I got slightly better fuel economy during my break in period (16.5mpg). I'm now averaging about 15.5mpg. However - I honestly think I was babying it during the break in period. So it makes sense I got better fuel economy then.

Taking the truck to Moab next week! Pretty excited about that.

I dropped off the truck at the custom exhaust shop first thing this morning. Waiting for the phone call to tell me I can come pick it up. They are doing the exhaust re-route for me so I can gain some ground clearance. Got the new RCI Transfer case skid plate cross member.

Maybe if the weather is good enough I can try to snap a photo this evening after I get the truck back!

Picked up the truck! Wow the reroute and axle dump cut off changed the exhaust note quote a bit. So not sure what to think about that. Seems to gurgle more but at a higher pitch. Only a dozen miles on it so far so in not really sure yet.

I can SEE the ground clearance difference just walking up to the truck.

Crossover - still using the oem y-pipe. It just got moved back further.

Okay put together a short video clip using my dash mounted GoPro. This just gives an idea of how the exhaust sounds from inside the cab. Video shows with windows rolled down and then later with them rolled up. Unfortunately, the dash and the windshield seem to create a little reverberation.

I'm still getting used to the change. Perhaps I'm being hyper sensitive but the truck seems to idle at a lower RPM than before. And I'm not certain but I'm contemplating whether it feels like it has less torque now. I'm probably being a Taco-Hypochondriac though.
