Kyle Busch Wanna be build

Well now that I have spent more money than I should, its time to make a build page.
I first got to drive it near the end of high school, and would go on to buy this truck's title from my mom. It was granddads before that. here is what it first looked like
Then it was off to college, where im still trying to finish... but enough of that.... it actually snowed my freshman year (Yes, snow in Georgia)

Then I got this cool idea I wanted to look like I offroaded...

but.... I got into nascar the day I went to my first race

from then on it was I wanted to be loud...
as if a midget muffler wasn't enough I got tired of this quietness

so I opted for more cab noise...

then it was the 4th of july (2014ish)

now I drove it around like this for awhile, and eventually wrecked it (sorry no pics of it) and when it came home from the body shop, I washed the hell out of it...
the wreck had me inspired to begin to turn this truck into a racetruck of sorts (a slow one, but still a race truck)... so I removed the brush guard, and bought a spoiler from strictly street

then I went hunting and killed my first deer (December 2015)

what is hilarious is that a fedex guy drove by and was honking and waving as I took this picture with the deer. but after hunting season, I needed some more horsepower, so I ditched the TRD intake for a URD intake...

and if that wasn't good enough, I installed the tundra racing lowering kit...
Had to hack up my tailpipe to clear the shackles on the lowering kit. So I went to Truk Kustoms... they gave me a no muffler side exit NASCAR style catback
And at the races in Atlanta Motor Speedway, I bought a Kyle Busch badge
Installed the URD headers and it is LOUD as a NASCAR and it pulls like one too
Now maybe itll get faster, and ill end up just like...

update.... since I lowered it, im getting a bad vibration from exhaust piping.... going to exhaust shop tomorrow, cut off the tailpipe, because it was rubbing the shackles, but it is still vibrating bad...

 

just wait until the headers go on...

 

u get yours on yet? curious about the steering shaft ordeal... other than that I think I can do this one

 

Mine comes in on Tuesday. I'm probably going to go to Marietta Toyota for some extra manifold studs before I start though - I'm almost positive that at least one will break. Something always has to go wrong.

And I talked to Gadget at URD: the O2 sims have been on backorder for about 6 months

 

soooo no sims anytime soon? let me know how much those studs cost you...

 

Steering shaft is a royal pain in the ass. Started at about 6:30, got them both out around 10, passenger side was in around 10:30, and we just gave up on the driver's side. Has to be done tomorrow though...
