Bought them for Search and Rescue and had them on the snow for a short time. Love the boot and would continue to use but the size is too big and unable to return.

Working on rebuilding my BC setup. Should be good to go when the snow sets up. It's been awhile though.

Free bump and can verify that these boots are up to all the praise they get. Put MILES and MILES in a pair as a USFS Backcountry Ranger years ago and still using today on alpine excursions.

La Sportiva does tend to run large. Every other maker in a 9.5 but a La Sportive 10 and I have several pairs of their shoes and boots.

I generally wear a size 11.5 - 12 depending on the shoe. Do these run on the larger size or are they exactly size 11?

They can run a little large depending on foot width. I know that doesn't help much. I can grab a picture of the insole next to a tape measure after work. But if you are near the Denver area I can also meet. Let me know.

Dont know where in co you are but no luck hear try to sell them at a second hand gear store. They will take a percentage but might sell. Or keep them for a just in case boot in the truck

those are damn nice mountaineering boots. i have a very similiar pair. they take crampons well, and have never had cold or wet feet in them tromping through snow, ice mist from getting dusted all day from ice axe. If I wore an 11 i'd snag these but i'm a 10.
