Awesome pictures Panda. However I'm hella lost. I only counted 10 Tacos? I swear we had like 30+ Tacos going? Was there more pics not included?

    Please post!

The pics still look good IMO. Heres the thing about a polarizer:

A polarizer wont make certain areas darker, it makes the whole picture darker so your dark areas are just the result of harsh shadows at that time of the day.

Because a polarizer will shorten the available light (usually by 2-3 stops), your camera must compensate for lost light by either opening up aperture or slowing down shutter speed. If you slow down shutter speed too much it picks up camera shake, if you open up aperture too much it creates a shallow depth of field where only a limited amount of space can be sharp and in-focus at one particular time. If you want a sharp shot throughout the whole thing use a higher aperture value like f10-16, and make sure you turn your shutter speed up so you dont pick up too much shake.

Modern DSLRS cant focus very well with old polarizers either, you bought a Circular one right?

Either way, I still think the pics look nice! SLRS just rock period. Nice pics and looks like a fun meet.

    Everyone: Did Joseph show up?

thanks for the info!!! i know nothing about polarizers but i hate turning up my f-stop with a lens that can shoot f1.5 :( but yeah i need to play with it to get a feel....what setting should i use? is there a better setting? or just depends on the light and the time of day...would aperture priority be better for it than like shutter or program?
