Just placed an order. I was going to make a bracket, but for my time and materials this is a great value. Looking forward to receiving!

I absolutely love it! It still won't win any speed awards but the improved drivability and fun factor is 100% worth it.

Thats awesome!! Is the whine from the SC noticeable? I haven’t seen many videos of them and the couple I have, I couldn’t hear the whine at all. I’m addicted to it on my 2nd gen :mudding:

It's too quiet, only makes some faint sound once your above 4000 rpm. It's good and bad, I want more sound, but if it made more it'd eat more fuel because I'd always be in it lol.

Wondering if anyone has tried mounting this switch bracket with an Off Grid Dual Battery kit? Specifically the version with the ML-ACR relay? Looks like they are in the same spot.

@mtip is correct; I keep a handful in stock, however a couple of the popular styles are currently out of stock. I estimate they will be available in approximately one month! If you’re interested in one that is out of stock, let me know and I’ll put you down on a notification list. Thanks for your interest:thumbsup:

I want to preface my post by saying I really like this product, and think it's a fantastic idea that I'd recommend to anyone with both a Tacoma and a winch-but only the solid bracket without any letter cuts.

TL,DR - Shop broke my bracket, I fixed it with more battery clearance.

I took my pickup into the shop for a warranty covered work, and I'm guessing that they pulled the battery, and re-installed it carelessly. I didn't notice for a while after the work was complete, but the bracket was bent down. I've been meaning to reinforce it with a steel plate or something, but never go around to it. Today, while replacing my serp belt, I noticed it was finally broken. My initial idea was to fix was some 6mm bolts, and attach the new switch piece below the new truck piece, after grinding the switch piece flat. I realized after some drilling, there wasn't enough material for a 6mm hole on the switch piece I ended up using rivets (washers were used because the original holes drilled were too big). The rivets seem really secure, and because the bracket is a bit shorter, it clears the group F battery a bit better. [IMG]

Man! Sorry to see this. Good job on mending it back! Thanks for posting your experience with it; I’ve personally done the same when installing my battery carelessly and bent the bracket before. Unfortunately these brackets aren’t made to support the weight of the battery, as you’ve come to find:)

Shoot me a PM, I’d like to get ya taken care of.

Finally got around to installing! Works awesome  still waiting on a couple pieces for the winch and bumper. Like a fairlead that fits.

Planning ahead, RedArc OGE dual battery setup inbound and I think it’s going to interfere with the winch switch. Does anyone have both? Has that topic already been discussed?
