I guess you can call it a build thread but I really just wanted a way of keeping track of my own progress. I purchased the truck in the fall of 2014 after my fiancé and I purchased a house. I have always been a car enthusiast but after buying the house we quickly realized my love for a lowered Lexus wasn't practical anymore.
    image.jpg image.jpg
So after researching I came to the conclusion that I really wanted a long bed, it had to be a 4x4 and it had to have color matched door handles and mirrors. After a trip to Toyota of Cleveland I decided to bring a white 2008 TRD sport Tacoma home.

    image.jpg
The truck already had a spacer and a block lift kit on it. I wasn't thrilled about it but I knew it would be coming off very shortly.
    image.jpg

    image.jpg
I also added a pioneer nex double din that I can't seem to find a picture of. After getting tired of the worn Trd bedside decals I ordered some new ones.
    image.jpg
Up to this point I still had the red SC300 posted above until a friend offered to buy it from me. I decided to take him up on his offer and put that money into the truck.

Watch out man. Your insurance company can decide to hold you accountable for accidents/damage if you get in an accident.

Great build!! You didn't install the retrofits? Also, you didn't say anything about the armor or cut fenders! That's the coolest part.

Holy crap you got that much lift fro OME 886s and Billys set at 0?!? I need to rethink my potential set up and consider 885s. Your truck looks great by the way. 35s not rubbing at all?

Thanks a lot, just remember my fenders are trimmed 2" so it looks a little higher. I didn't lose much height at all though when I added sliders, front bumper and skid plate. There is a small amount of rubbing but it can all be fixed with a hammer around the pinch weld.

Very frickin nice man! Can't wait to install my gears and get 35's. I get a little glimpse of what my truck will look like with 35's haha.

I love the look and the feel of the truck on 35s. They are even starting to look small to me now.

Haha my 33's feel small to me cuz of the cut fenders haha. I'm stoked to jump to 35's. You get a lot of rubbing or no? I have cut the fenders, need to beat back the pinch weld some more and probably cut more of the cab mount.

I need to beat in the pinch weld some more but other than that I haven't had any problems. I wanted to let it rub a little bit more so I can see where all still needs to be beat in.
