Hey out there! I’m looking to buy a camper and am wondering how big I can go??? I love my Tacoma TRD Sport but have had issues towing heavy loads with a light truck in the past. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the links. From what I’m seeing, Towing Bible-wise, I’m thinking I’ll have to step up to a Tundra or F-150/250. That is unless I stuff the family into a smaller camper. The 29 footers push the truck awfully close to the towing capacity. If anyone has personal experiences, please share. Cheers!

Don’t know what trailer you are looking at but if it’s a 29 footer then get a different truck. You will either be close to max or exceed it. Either way it will be a problem with a Tacoma.

Unless you will be making short trips on level ground you need a bigger truck
