285/60/18, fits like stock, looks a tad bigger.

Yes and they'll likely not impact performance or gas mileage unless you go with E load or aggressive tread

Has anyone tried a Toyo RT LT 285/70R17 on TRD rims on a stock suspension?

265/70/17 is the biggest you can go without a front lift, 275/70r17 I think a 1.5 inch lift minimum is needed and a 3 inch+ for 285. I could be wrong but that's what most people say.

Thanks for the advice! I did a trade with an off roading company in Denver and they suggested I go with the Nitto Ridge Grappler (265 70/R17) as they are manufactured in the same plant as Toyo. I will post pictures next week when it's all ready! Side note..they mentioned that they are having lots of issues with the BFG KO2s and he didn't recommend them.

What offset rims did you have? Also, anyone know the offset off the top of their head of these TRD black wheels everyone is buying up?

It says the offset is 4mm. Can't believe 265/70/17's fit with an offset that low.

My cousin is getting rid of his fj soon and he offered to just switch out tires with me. He has duratracs 285/70-17 with 15k on them. Can I get them to fit them on my '16 Trd sport without a lift?
