    I would be comfortable paying 70$ for two shipped, if thats not worth it for you I completely understand, no sense in selling them for less than you want.

    I ship ALOT of stuff through my ebay store, often with bigger items, I will just got to walmart and get some of their moving boxes (they are like 1-2$ each in the office supply section)1-2 rolls of their cheap packing tape (they are 1$ each here) and brake a box down so it is flat, and then roll each item like a burrito a couple times then roll the two into one burrito and tape the crap out of it. The layers of cardboard provide enough cushion so usually not a need for bubble wrap or packing paper.

    Your way might be easier though if you can find a box that fits both without adding a huge amount of bulk.
