Last Minute Beginner Trail Run

This is great for Beginners looking to get into off-roading.
These trails are rated level 1 to 2. Very stock capable but still some fun challenging spots.
Possibility for pin stripping or scratches from branches on final optional trail.

Requirements: 4WD may be necessary and All terrain tires are recommended

Starting Location: 38 Coates Rd E, Oshawa, ON L1H 7K4

When: Tomorrow, Saturday at 10am

 

I’m game. Is there any “water crossings”? I haven’t done the breather mod yet.

 

theres some puddles that could be half wheel deep. You wouldn’t be in longer then a couple seconds so I wouldn’t worry about diff breather.

Boundary Rd - 14km

Oak Ridges Trail - 8km

Mosport Trail - 2km

Wild Turkey Rd - 2km

Bally Duff Rd - 2km


Lunch Break


Solanum Way - 2km

Dranoel Rd - 2km

Hoggsback 1 - 8km

Hoggsback 2 - 6km

 

Brand new to offroad...this would've been perfect. Can't tomorrow but will keep an eye out for next time.
Bone stock Sport Long Bed (someone called it 'Trail Limo' lol) - any issues?

 

How long will it take to do this route?

 

about 2-3 hours

 

I have a trail limo as well! For sure will do this route again so stay tuned for the next one

Yes it is, just google Purple Woods Conservation Park, it’s the parking lot

 

Do you have trail comms?

 

I have a beofang radio, can get all the channels

(due to my GoPro overheating I missed: the sketchy eroding hill at Hogsback & ski hill road, "the recovery", and that very steep hill at the end of Dranoel rd)

 

Hey, how's the truck?

 

Seems to be good, I changed the air filter right after the run in Peterborough. There were no lights or odd noises on the way home. I changed the oil today and it didn't look too bad. Now it just needs to air out lol
