Well, at least the workers got the TAA benefits. Huge benefit if they take advantage of it. I thought the Tacoma's were going to be built in San Antonio?

 

yep, by people willing to allow their employers to take advantage of their hard work by underpaying them to build your truck in unsafe conditions. Sounds awesome!

 

We've had this debate on here before. Usually it goes in circles and people end up getting upset.

Yeah, they're applauding loosing their jobs.

Sucks, but I hope this can only mean better quality and get back to the reliable toyotas of yesteryear.

 

good riddance. end of a bad era for Toyota trucks.. hopefully the next operation will build more solid vehicles..

 

As opposed to the great quality Toyota has had in recent years.

I'm not a member of a union. I work hard and I'm compensated well as per market conditions as everyone should be.

Yes, it's unfortunate the plants closing and a lot of great folks will lose their jobs. Wonder how much Toyota's profit will go up.
Just seems a shame some here appear to blame the workers for poor quality of some of the Toyota's today.

Actually, Nummi won the most awards for quality for any toyota plant in the U.S.....They made a good living and earned every penny for it.
