what's up fellow taco lovers? i just replaced my '90 model toyota pickup with an '07 model TRD Sport. just need to get the sucker of the damn ground! i need to be able to get down gas pipeline right-of-ways on a regular basis, so i need the best lift that a man can get.

i'd also like to know if there is a ram-air kit for the scoop in the TRD Sport package. i know it looks nice, but it would kick ass if it was funtionable, as well.

feel free to drop me a line anytime.

Welcome to the forums. Out of curiosity, based on your needs, why go with TRD Sport instead of TRD Off-road?

may seem lame, but i really liked the look of the scoop. it just kind of added that little extra something. and if somebody designs a ram air kit, it would keep me from having to replace the hood, then get it painted. i have been told that the lift kit is more difficult to install on the Sport than the Off-Road. is this true?

    getting there....
welcome to tw, despolt77!!! i dont think the lift should be any harder to install on the sport.....basically the same setup......just different differentials i think.

as far as the scoop.......what about trying to mod it yourself?? i think someone on tn may have tried modding it.....not really sure though.

i know that the limited slip difs have impressed me so far. my old truck didn't have them, and now i don't know how i lived without 'em. even with stock street tires, it performs better than my '90 model with mickey thompson radial claws. i just need some clearance. which is better, the pro-comp, or the skyjacker kit?
