I was gonna order some new lower ball joints for my tacoma from camelback, but thought that i'd call my local dealership to conform part numbers before pulling the trigger.

The guy from my local dealership parts department told me that these are the part number for my LBJ's:
    right 43330-39815
    left - 43340-39585

When I look on the Camelback toyota parts website, the last 5 numbers are different from what he told me.

I wanna make sure that I order the right ones. I have a 6 lug (4x4) 2.7L base trim tacoma.
Does anybody have any experience with this or can confirm that these will be what I need?

This is what I got when I put your truck's info into Toyotapartsdirect.ca and searched lower ball joint.

The ones you have listed at the bottom are for a 5 lug.

The ones in the image I attached of the Camelback parts?

Those are the same numbers as what @Taco-Bell posted which he claims to be the 6 lug ones I need.

The one from your dealership are the correct number, the Camelback ones are for a 5 lug like @01GreenTacoma said (I believe).

Yea your right. I didn't think to search the part numbers he provided me with online. They come up as the prerunner 5 lug ball joints.

You want the ones for a pre-runner/4wd. They are the same ball joint. The 5 lug is completely different.

Oh really? I thought the pre-runner was a 5 lug since it's 2wd, right? Or do I have it all backwards.

Pre-runner is same as 4wd minus the transfer case, differential, cv’s. All other pre-runner suspension is the same. Both are 6 lug.

The 5 lug completely different from the other two aforementioned styles

I think you can go someplace like toyotapartsdeal.com, tell them your VIN, and have confidence that
    you're finding the right parts...
