Leaf spring center bolt won’t go through, help

This thread has a lot of good info. You’re essentially following the same steps as installing an aal, just without the extra leaf.

This belongs in the 3rd gen section.

Just clamp them together and smack the leafs with a hammer until they align

when i bought new leafs center bolt was allready istalled

 

Well my first mistake was having weight on the springs. I guess I was just getting frustrated, wasn’t paying attention, and needed to take a 20 min breather. But it was the screwdriver trick quoted above. Stuck it in thru the hole on top and wiggled it around until all the leafs aligned together.
